Hi Deon,
You can change your story! The fact is the Bulls are the best side in SA. And they have been for the last few years, and probably overall since 2002.
The Cheetahs are lucky. They are consistently inconsistent. Probably because they buy so many of their players!

The MIGHTY CHEETAHS made it to the semis. It is no surprise to me; I have predicted it at the begging of the season. They showed a lot of character to get there. The Bulls will need to peak now or it will be too late, AGAIN!
No Sanjay I didn’t say that “this year will show once and for all who is really king of SA rugby!” I said that “the winners of the 2009 currie cup season will show who the best SA provincial team is”
I hope that you will still support your Bulletjies after they have lost in the final!
Your friend
Deon

Hi Deon,
The Bulls are not worried about travelling, and if any side knows how to peak in SA it is the Bulls. They have too many good players. The Cheetahs had the surprise element for a few years, but not anymore, and with all the Boks available we will see who is the best side.
The Cheetahs buy just as many players as anyone else. Let's be honest, how many of their current backline are from FS? If we had a FS backline they wouldn't get any tries!
We did say at the beginning of the season, this year will show once and for all who is really king of SA rugby!

Hi Sanjay
It is a worry that they aren't firing at the level they are suppose to though.
Let me remind you that the Cheetahs have won away against the Bulls in the past.
Let's face it that they are the underestimated underdogs and I would have been very worried if I were the other teams.
''Good to see the Bulls are looking strong in their junior ranks" – that might be so, but remember they are playing with other provinces players. You can almost say 20% of their current players are Cheetahs!
Go the Cheetahs.

Hi Deon,
The Bulls have the best Boks, in Victor Matfield, Fourie du Preez, Morne Steyn and Habana. Not to forget Bakkies Botha. They'll be firing when they need to.
The Cheetahs might get into the semis, but they probably won't win away from home. Let's face it a semi-final berth would be an achievement for them.
Good to see the Bulls are looking strong in their junior ranks with plenty of good signings too. Next year we'll hopefully continue our dominance.

HI Sanjay
The Bulls aren't that well with their Springboks back either. The Miighty Cheetahs will sneak back to fourth position this coming weekend. So they will play in the semis against the Western Province or Sharks. They will then meet the Bulls again in the final, just to shock them again.

Sanjay. The MIGHTY CHEETAHS scared the Bulletjies a bit and showed that it is not going to be as easy as you predicted. The MIGHTY CHEETAHS might just set the scores right in the semis.
You are right the Cheetahs have unfinished business!
Deon,
Stop dreaming my friend. We said this year would show once and for all who the best side in South Africa truly is. You didn't believe it once the Bulls thrashed all opposition in the Super 14, well hopefully you will when we have the Currie Cup as well.
I don't even think the Cheetahs will make the semi-finals. That's a poor position for a side that was hardly affected by Springbok selections. The Bulls had a virtual B side yet will still make it through. It shows how good the Bulls are.

Now the real Currie Cup has begun. The Bulls showed against Boland they will be tough to beat and should be in the final against the Sharks. It's likely to be a Durban final in a repeat of last year.
We have unfinished business!
